Mary Ann and Brian {wedding}
Photographers often talk about “building relationships”. Maybe so often that it has kinda become a cliche. However, what we are trying to say is genuine. Not to be overly sappy, but there is a certain realness that comes with shooting a couple on their wedding day, which makes it easier to connect with people in a special way.
Even though we didn’t have the chance to meet with Mary and Brian before their wedding day (they live out west where they climb mountains and do awesome stuff) we immediately clicked. Mary was candid and kind, and Brian was quick with a smile. The kind of people who you instantly feel comfortable around. And I can’t possibly overstate how much of a difference the laid back, trusting attitude makes in terms of spawning creativity. When we know our couple isn’t second guessing every photographic decision, it creates mental space for focusing on capturing the best shots. Thanks guys!
