Mary + Alex {engagement}

I’m not 100% sure why, but 9 times out of 10 when people say “Oh, we are soooo awkward in front of the camera” it actually means “we’re rockstars in front of the camera”. Whether it’s nervous energy, or perhaps just a misunderstand of what photo sessions CAN be, most of the time people kill it in front of the lens. I was so energized by Mary and Alex’s chemistry and am pumped to be shooting their wedding in October! Check out our snowy session below :)

Mary+Brian {wedding}

Mary and Brian love to travel the world. So we where super happy when we landed their wedding…get it, like a plane. Awesome globe gift for him and some meaningful notes for her. Their dog even showed up for a quick photo shoot. They where down for any photo ideas we had and it shows. Cap it off with a 5 pound donut for a cake and full dance floor all night.

Allison + Matt {wedding}

Right out of the gate, 2019 started off with a bang. Allison and Matt did nothing but smile and laugh their whole wedding day (see photos for evidence). Despite the cold and snowy rain mix everyone was game for pics outside, frozen appendages and all. During the reception we took advantage of some evening snow to take some outdoor pics with A + M. We topped the night of with a awesome sparkler exit. What more can you ask for?

Lara + Nick {wedding}

I think we walked through the front door of Lara’s moms house in the middle of the scene from Bridesmaids, where Maya Rudolph poops in the middle of the street. At that moment, we knew it was going to be a good day. And a good day it was! We had some of the most magical light right before entering the reception where we snapped some awesome portraits of Lara and Nick. Scroll down to check out “golden hour” at its finest.

Billy + Sarah {wedding}

Billy’s top 10 list of favorite things in the world would probably not include “getting my photo taken”. However, he and Sarah made it easy on me, smiling for every minute of it. We were able to turn those puddles, leftover from the afternoon rain showers to create some neat portraits after the ceremony. It was a blast getting to be a part of this beautiful wedding day at such a picturesque venue.
